KITESURF TUITION
I.K.O approved center - high level tuition

Courses Avaliable :

2 Hour- Introduction to kiting: Safety, kite layout, theory of flying, flying the kite on land or in the water, also using a harness.
US$ 75.00

4 Hour- Basic kitesurf course: Different types of kites 2 and 4 line, putting together the equipment. Theory of flying. In water kite flying, body dragging. Theory of board use, getting the board on your feet and trying to make your first waterstarts.
Including rescue cover.

6 Hour- Start to ride: Becoming more familiar with the board, revision of areas covered in the Four hour course. Theory of edging the board, kite control and better body position. Including rescue cover.

8 Hour- Improving your riding: Putting in to practice all of the skills learnt in the six-hour course. Improving body position, riding with more power. Advanced theory. Including rescue cover.

10 Hour- Up and riding: The ten hour course is designed to help you with staying up wind, advanced theory showing how to control more power. Using smaller twin tip boards. Covering safety, rules and rescue techniques. Including rescue cover.
US$ 325.00

NB. International kiteboarding (IKO) card is given to those who take the 4 hour course and above. Additional hours can be taken on top of the above courses. All these courses can be taken by intermediate and advanced sailors to improve your kitesurfing skills.

Advanced Group Clinics: Available on request- includes video tuition and your own customised DVD

Priviate Tuition: Using video, DVD, tips and trick demonstrations, available at US$ 45.00 per hour

Supervision: If you have your own equipment and would like tips and hints along with supervision and rescue this is available at US$ 20.00 per hour

KITE AND BOARD HIRE PRICES

We have a selection of CO2 rekon kites along with the Martin Vari and Icon freestyle boards available from Cabrihna

Other kiting components such as bars, harnesses, life jackets and helmets are also available for hire.

NOTE: ½ DAY IS APPROXIMATELY 3 HRS. DAY HIRE IS FROM 10am – 5pm.

Kite and board hire is only for those who meet World kite boarding's safety (IKO) and practical standards.

Insurance covers damage to all kitesurf equipment but only half the cost of total loss. Any damage occured on the beach is not covered by insurance. PERSONAL LIABILITY IS NOT INCLUDED.
